How do I decorate my room without painting?

I want to decorate my room (not too much $$ though) without painting the walls, and i want it to be colourful and creative. I'd like a DIY project too, cuz im really crafty. Any ideas? :) Thanx.

get really cute wallpaper and you can buy some curtains to match and if you have the money you can buy new sheets and stuff like pillows or something like that

Removable wall decals

Go to thrift stores and find furniture or other cool stuff and paint those fun colours instead.

Fabric. You could do all sorts of stuff with it-get creative.

Make some fun art for your walls.

They have what's called "Wallies". I saw them on Oprah, but it's a wall paper that can just be peeled off whenever. No craziness or glue or whatever... Otherwise, if you didn't want to paint the WHOLE walls... try like sponge blotching a bit of it or something...

get a bunch of posters u like and place them around, and maybe make a a collage of things u like and pics of ur friends and stuff.

you could also buy small little items u like to have around, like i have a dragon my gf gave me. i need a place for it actually. it's a wonderful decoration and goes with my personality. if u want and need to, hang up shelves for books and stuffed animals, and random peices of art. or a collectio u have maybe? i used to have a bunch of hats all on my walls, but took them down after a wile when i moved my furnisure around.
