How do I delete, or clean search history from yahoo web search bar. there is so much on mine, it's distracting

Every time I use my yahoo web search bar, all of my previous searches are displayed and I find that very annoying.

How do I clear it out?

Clear search history is in the green button.

You mean when you start typing in the search box it gives a drop down showing prior searches? If so then just Arrow down to highlight it and use your delete key to get rid of them.

Or you can go to Tools>Delete Browsing History.

go into tools and then scroll down

the option should be there

To clear the search history from the search bar menu on Yahoo! or Google pages, double click the search bar; this will make a menu drop down with your searches, put your cursor on what you want to delete to highlight it, hit the delete button on your keyboard. If you want to delete everything just hold the delete button down until everything is deleted.

To clear the search history on Yahoo! Toolbar, click the down arrow on the right side of the search bar and on the top of the drop down menu click Options and click Clear Search History.
