How do I delete a group that I created with the wrong name?

Here is how you can delete a group:

But rather than deleting, (if just the name is wrong) you can think of changing the name of your group and this is how you can do this:

You can do what moekittykitty says, or you can just change the name of the group to the correct one - that feature is under management as well.

Sign in to the group you wish to delete.

Click on Management.

On right side of screen under "Delete Group", click on "Delete" and then confirm that you do want to delete the group.

NOTE:  If you delete the group, you will remove the group from Yahoo! Groups, unsubscribe all members, and eliminate all archives, shared files, and calendars.
