Question:

How do I delete a "deleted" person from my yahoo 360 page?

I have deleted a contact from my 360 page. Yahoo has also deleted this person. However, even though his picture and details no longer exist, his name still appears in my friends list. His profile is gone but it still shows I have one extra 'friend' than I do (I want him gone!).

I have tried to delete on more than one occasion but after clicking on "yes, delete", it comes up that that page no longer exists. I want this person's details off my page.

How do I do it when theoretically he is deleted??? In other words, how do I delete him permanently from my page?

Thanks in advance. :)

  1. Frankly, it's a glitch. Yahoo! 360 team is no longer fixing glitches.

Y!360 is transitioning into a different social networking platform in early 2008. There has not been a more specific date announced on the blog yet, so it could happen any time between January and end of March 2008. Yahoo is trying to centralize its profiling services - Y!Mash, Y!360, and the regular Members profile - into one. See http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 for more details. Since they are no longer fixing bugs related to Y!360, so there's no point in trying to contact them about it.

He probably needs to delete you from his 360 space in order to have a CHANCE at disappearing from yours completely. The glitch regarding deleting friends is mentioned here:

  2. This is what I found on the 360 Help Page:

How do I remove a friend as a connection?

       1. Click "My Friends" at the top of the page.

       2. Click the "Edit Settings" link near the name of the person you want to remove.

       3. Click "Remove from your Friends page." This will remove the person as a connection of yours and vice versa.

  3. You must do it from your friends list.
