How do I delete a saved file on Pokemon Gameboy?

I bought a couple of cartridges on eBay for my kids and it appears they still have the prior owner's saved file. I don't have a book. Is there any way to delete it?

  1. no you don't delete it. tell your kids that you have to just save over it. I have a little brother and he told me.
