  1. If you are using Internet Explorer click on Tools, Internet Options, Content, Auto Complete. Then clear forms. This will erase the search history. If you don't want things showing up again then deselect the auto complete options at the top of the page. Be sure to select ok at the bottom. Clearing the history only deletes sites visited and doesn't clear the search history in the search bar.

  2. If you're using Internet Explorer click on the Tools tab. Then click on Internet Options. Then you will see a window pop up. There is a section named History. Click on "Clear History".

    And there you go! =]

  3. using windows xp, click tools, internet options, general tab, delete and then delete all.  If you dont want your computer to remember what you have typed in the address bar or search bars, click the content tab and then settings next to auto complete.  check the boxes next what you want your computer to remember or uncheck the boxes next to the ones you dont want it to remember.

  4. You will need to advise of which internet browser you are using.   On my Mozilla Firefox browser, it is "Tools"  then "Clear Private Data".
