How do I delete infected files using avast antivirus?

I scanned my computer and it found viruses which have been put into the chest...

How do I remove the virus?

Go into the Chest area and click delete on your keyboard or look for the red X on the screen.

Okay, I checked my Virus Chest and I know how to delete it.  Two ways:

1. Right-click on the virus and click "delete"

2. Go to the top toolbar with all the icons and click on the third icon from the left.  It should resemble a box.  (Bad graphics, can't really tell if it's a box).
