How do I delete my list of answered questions ?

I've only been out here for a couple of weeks yet the questions never go away. The ones on my watch list I can delete but not the ones on my answer list, I would like to delete at least a page or two. Anyone know how to do it?

You can only delete open question or answers, if they have gone to the vote or resolved they cannot be removed.

The questions and answers stay in yahoo archive available for searching and browsing. only yahoo can delete them.

If the Question/answer is still open scroll down to Pencil Icon and click> select delete question.

You can only delete your OPEN questions/answers.

To delete them, click at your avatar, go down the page and you will see your Question/Answer folder.

Look for the question you want to delete....and click on the Pencil Icon below your question and select “ Delete Question”

If the Pencil Icon is no longer 'clickable', this means the question is currently in voting or has become resolved.

Resolved questions/questions in voting cannot be deleted, unless the question is reported by 1 or more YA member, or YA feels such question violates the Yahoo! Community Guidelines.

Resolved questions are archived by Yahoo! Answers, to make it available for others to search and browse.

All content will also be indexed in Web Search Engines, and because these are able to store cached versions of pages, your posts will remain searchable EVEN  if you delete them.

Answer questions the best as you can to advance to a higher level. You earn 2 points when you answer. You earn 10 points + 1 point per thumbs up (max. 50 points) when your answer is picked as Best Answer.

Unfortunately we can't, if they've gone into voting or are Resolved Questions.. Same with Answers.

That's why they only show us the first 10 or so.. I use to want to delete them too, until I realized that they came in handy for reference purposes.  Once closed, they become the property of Yahoo Answers.

The only ones you can delete are the recent ones (within the last 4 hours) - in questions - and for answers, before they go to voting, or the Asker resolves them.  (Chooses a Best Answer).

And yes, as you mentioned, your watchlist ones..
