First, goto "Tools" -> "Clear private data" if you are using Mozilla Firefox. If you have Internet Explorer, "Tools" -> "Delete browsing history." Then to clear your Google searches, click the arrow to the right of the Google toolbar search field and click "clear search history."

go to tools and i might automatically say delete browsing history that how it is on mine i have the latest internet explorer

or if not

go to tools then internet options and there it says delete cookies, files, history etc.

You need to clear or disable Auto Complete. This saves all previous searches in your search bar. Here's how to fix the problem:

For Internet Explorer: Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.
