How do I delete my "My Yahoo!" page?

Yes, I have gone here: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/my/my/personalize/personalize-14.html

Can someone explain to me exactly what they mean? I have tried going back to the OLD My Yahoo! page. Can't find that little "X" they're talking about there, either. Help!

  1. What they are referring to is your "My Yahoo" page (the new Beta format) and how to delete a page / tab from it.  The "X" they are referring to on this help page does not exist in the "My Yahoo" classic format.

How you remove a page / tab from your "My Yahoo" page depends on which format you are using.

    For "My Yahoo" classic:

There is a drop-down menu in the right upper side of the screen just to the right of "Select Pages:".  From that drop-down you can select "add / delete page".

    For "My Yahoo" beta:

There is an "X" next to the name of the page / tab on the left side of the navigation bar.  It is only present for the page / tab that is currently being viewed, (which should also be high-lighted).  This navigation bar also contains your name, the sign-out link and a link to Help on the right side.

If you are trying to delete the "Yahoo!" page, you can not.  That page / tab is part of the whole My Yahoo scheme.

Hope this helps clear up some of the confusion.
