How do I delete past site listings that show up when typing a new word within the serach window?

  1. Click the down arrow on toolbar settings (avatar).then select "clear recent searches" Good Luck..


  2. This usually works in the search field of most webpages, but clear the field, double click in it.  That should produce a list of all the key words you've entered.  Move the mouse down to one, and press the Delete key.  Delete as many as you wish or all of them.

  3. For Internet Explorer:Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.

  4. you can either right click and delete them or you can download some free pc cleaner and erase them.

  5. push delete button

  6. Clean out your cookies and temp files. That is where they are held.

    Try CCleaner. It works great for getting rid of the junk. Its a great little program, and its free.
