How do I delete photos from shortcuts? The messages have already been deleted but the images remain?

Question

I did not choose to save images that were included in messages but they go automatically to the my photos folder in shortcuts. I'd like to delete them or better yet block them from ever being saved in the future.

Have you emptied the trash folder?
