Use the "tools" button on your toolbar, scroll to- Delete Browsing Histroy" and choose the action you wish to take. Good Luck!

For Internet Explorer: Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.

Do you mean how do you clear the words/phrases you've looked up in yahoo search?  

I do it manually. I go through the whole alphabet. I type in "A" and that brings up everything I've searched for that started with the letter A. I use the down arrow button on my keyboard to highlight each word and then press the delete button.Then I type in B and repeat the process for each word that shows up under that letter.  If you do it by using this method, remember to type in symbols too. If you have looked for something with quotes on both ends, you will need to type in the " symbol to see what yahoo search has remembered about search terms starting with that symbol. Then delete each one.  It's tedious but I have not figured out another way to do it.

If you want to delete previously visited internet sites, go to the top of your browser and click "Tools".  Then click "Internet Options".  Under the "General" tab (which is the first tab you see), go down to "History" and click "Clear History". Then press "yes" and then "ok".
