How do I delete songs off my i-pod?

I let my friend borrow my ipod and she put a song on it I really hate. It was a joke so how do I get it off?

I would plug up your ipod and go to the settings. Click manual sync songs. Then unplug your ipod and delete the song by clicking it (so it's highlighted blue) and then hit delete. Go back to your menu and click back to automatically sync.
