When Im on iTunes with my iPod connected, I click 'Matts iPod' in the sidebar. But it won't let me delete music from my iPod this way. There are songs on my iPod that I dont want, Ive deleted the from my library, but they are still on.

Maybe its because I removed iTunes from my computer then downloaded it again. how do I fix this?

  1. remove the mp3s that u dont want anymore then resync the iphone it will remove them.

  2. I have the same problems so just uncheck the songs and that should help if it doesn't call Apple Tech, they helped me.

  3. go on to you music library.click on 'Matt's iPod'.click on music. then right click and it should say delete

  4. Try this-  on your iTunes library, go through all of your songs and uncheck the little box next to the song for all of the songs you don't want on your ipod.  Then after that, plug in your iPod and click a button that says something like "sync".  It should just load up all of the checked songs.

  5. Try reseting your iPod back to factory settings or "reset" its on the little menu thing, I'm sure its on there because it happened to me. It didnt work for me because i was at a different computer(weird)

  6. ask the company

  7. Delete songs off irunes library and then synchronize ipod with como/libary

  8. Make sure you have checked "Manually Manage Music and Video"

  9. un-sync your ipod.

then you can drag songs into it, and delete too.
