  1. If you are using Internet Explorer click on Tools, Internet Options, Content, Auto Complete. Then clear forms. This will erase the search history. If you don't want things showing up again then deselect the auto complete options at the top of the page. Be sure to select ok at the bottom. Clearing the history only deletes sites visited and doesn't clear the search history in the search bar.

  2. Click on the search line to open the list.

Move down to the item you want to delete.

Press "delete" on the keyboard (not the backspace one, the one to the left of "end" and below "insert").

  3. I don't know if this will work but you could try right click and delete. It seems to work with everything else.

  4. go to tools (top right corner) then internet options then  browsing history then delete all do this a few times if you wish.

    good luck..

  5. As suggested by the above - you can also install windows washer that clears all this and other stuff that gets downloaded to your computer.  Whenever you shut down your computer, it gets rid of all of those things freeing up valuable memory that slows your computer.

  6. internet options , then delete browsing history , actually just choose delete all , like the cookies and stuff !
