How do I delete the "my recent documents" list on my computer?

  1. Vista: Right click recent items, and clear.

    XP: Right click start, properties. Click clear list.

    These are better than the run command!


  2. First: Press Windows + R or got to start menu and then run command.

    Second: Type recent.

    Third: a explorer window will be open select all(Ctrl + a) and then Press Shift+Delete.

  3. You cant delete that document but you CAN delete whats inside it.  Click "my recent documents" and right click each file in it and delete it.

  4. i dont think you can with out actualy deleating those files

    please help
