We want to have a haunted trail this year, but only have an open field to do it in. Any ideas on how we could section it off or create a "trail" feel?

  1. It really depends on your budget. If you have a good budget to work with, you can layout your trail using spray paint on the ground and then get some 2x4's or metal poles and stake them in the ground every 4 or 5 feet along your laid out trail. Then get some tarps or sheets, nail them to the top of the 2x4's and then stake the bottom of the sheets/tarps into the ground with ground stakes. Do this all along your trail. Then all you have to do is decide on what to put in your trail. Fake blood, bones, scary music, props, etc!! Make sure your have some sort of lighting to light up your props!! Hope this helps!!

  2. First, get a couple bags of top soil and make a trail out of it. Then buy a couple bags of plastic spiders and put them throughout the trail. After this, outline the trail with candles or lights (the scull kind) Put some keep out signs near the trail. You then could buy some dog bones and scatter them on the trail, so they look like humen skeloten bones. Have Fun!
