  1. i just point and say "8-ball that pocket" its obvious. :D

  2. I usually say which pocket or point towards the pocket if it's loud in the establishment. I usually make sure my opponent knows which pocket I'm shooting at before I shoot to prevent any disagreements.

  3. For Y! Pool. simply click  the pocket you think you can put the 8 ball in.

  4. I usually just say "8 Ball, Corner/Side pocket".

Or even just pointing at it with your cue and your friends ought to get the hint.

  5. Under BCA rules, if it's obvious where you intend to pocket the 8-ball, you don't need to designate the pocket.  If there's any doubt as to which pocket, you should verbally state which pocket and point to it.  I don't play in APA leagues, but I've heard that you actually have a marker that you have to place by the pocket that you intend to pocket the ball in, regardless of how obvious the shot is.  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

  6. Hi James, it depends on which pool u talking about, if its the ordinary pool game then u say the pocket or just pointed the nominated pocket you going for. But if u playing in Yahoo pool game then using your mouse button and simply click on the pocket you going for then take your shot.
