How do I determine Survivors Benefits?

My mom just passed away the 23rd of July, And I'm being told I should get survivors benefits. I'm looking for a house at the time and I need to know how much these should be monthly.. so.. How do I get an estimate for this kind of thing? I'm aware of how to get everything started and where to go, I just need a estimate at the time.

I'm in the mortgage business, and specialize in VA loans.  You may get some benefits financially due to the survivors benefit, but it depends on a lot of things.

If you are over 18 and live in the U.S., I am not aware of what survivor benefits you are referring to. Ask the person who told you this, where they come from. You MAY be entitled to property or money from her estate if you are in the will or the only living relative.
