Question:

How do I develop a business plan?

I have an idea for a product/service. It is a simple idea that isn't really patentable but from all of my research would be a huge hit. It wouldn't really work as a local business and that is the part that is overwhelming. It would be easiest to start on a website but it would have to go national fairly quickly before someone else steals my idea. That obviously would involve significant money and assistance for someone with no business experience. Are consultants available?

  1. Yes, I shall be your consultant.  Also get a patent

  2. 1) Try to patent something if possible.

    2) Create a strong brand that even someone "copys" you idea, you are still recognized as theoriginal one. Like the crogs.

    3) Here are some biz plan samples you can use as reference.  http://www.bplans.com/sample_business_pl...

    Good luck!

  3. Your best consultants are people who have done something similar not just theorists. WE are in a very different ERA when the Internet is involved. It is more like you need a good web site and then someone who can direct you how to draw traffic to it.
