Question:

How do I dilute pressure washer detergent?

I bought pressure washer fluid that indicates it gets diluted 1:20. My pressure washer has a tube that sucks up the fluid and then, of course, the water hose connects to the machine as well. Do I dilute it 1:20 into a bucket and then stick the tube in? (Then the water hose is diluting it further...?) Or do I just stick the tube into the detergent bottle fullstrength?

  1. Sugar, straight detergent will ruin your lines.

Get a 5 gal bucket and dilute as suggested.

they know you will probably use 20 :2  , every one thinks twice as much is better.  Go ahead, the manufacturer already knows you will and that is why they don't say 10:1 because then you would use 5:1.

    Just don't use straight.

  2. Yes, you just dilute it 20:1 in a bucket as it says on the bottle.
