How do I disassemble a Mitsu VS-70707 for transport?

The VS-70707 is a gigantic 70" television thats about 6 feet tall and weighs I would guess 400 pounds.

A little tag on it says it can be partially disassembled for transport but it says to contact a mitsubishi expert repair tech.

Obviously I would prefer not to since that sounds like a very expensive option...

It's actually very simple. The upper 2/3rds of your TV is a near empty cavity. All the electronics are in the lower third, behind the speaker covers. There are 4 bolts you can take out and remove the top 2/3rds from the bottom. You should see the twist things on the sides of the TV. Sorry, don't know what they're called.

When you take the top off, the lenses of your picture tubes will be exposed. Be sure to protect them before transporting.
