I can only find under the manual how to set the time and the date. When I review my pictures on my camera it shows the time and the date. When I take my SD Card out and either view it on my Computer or Print no time and date shows ... any suggestions ?

  1. Under the print Menu in options, it allows you to set DPOF to timestamp the pictures when you print them (on compatible printers, and only when printing from the camera).  It doesn't actually stamp (like old film camera) the date on the picture, it just takes the data from the picture file (also called EXIF data) to display the date. (The Date/Time and other information about the picture is stored in the EXIF data).

If you really want the date displayed on the picture, you would have to look at the EXIF data, and use a program like Photoshop to put the data on the picture yourself.

  2. Hook the camera up directly to the computer or compatible printer. The camera and the flash card must be together.

  3. You have to have pictures on card, then go into the menu and find date stamp or text stamp. You have to choose 1 or all to be stamped with the time, date or added text.
