  1. The title you have in the folder is the title of the FILENAME (ie, SongName.mp3). However, because wmplayer uses metadata (tags), the name displayed in wmplayer is the TITLE of the song, not the FILENAME. There's no quick way to do this - you have to rename them individually.

    You can view all the metadata associated with the file by viewing its properties (Right click on file>>Properties).


  2. Download MP3TAG this will let edit all your mp3 tunes so you can view title in media player (this is freeware software) and only works in XP.
