  1. On some computers it tells you right at the start what button to press to go to system recovery. Most computers don't have it and if you've got recovery CDs that don't work you'll need new ones. Mine cost £25..

  2. run system restore

  3. you have to restart the computer and when its loading it says system recovery press F11 or something. but it only shows up for a couple of seconds so u might have to restart ur computer until u press the correct button. then u can chose if u want to backup ur system on ur hard drive or delete everyhting. Thats how u do it on my computer. i dont know if its different for ur computer or not. hope this helps.

  4. Insert the first system recovery disc. Turn off your computer. At the manufacturer's logo screen, hit F1 (or whichever key it says to press for entering setup). Go to the Boot tab, and set the boot device priority so that the CD-ROM drive has priority over the hard drive. Exit out of Setup. You should now be able to boot from CD, and start the recovery this way.
