It is Windows XP, I used to use it for gaming, but now it is mostly for my schoolwork and online classes. I really need my computer, but my 15 year old cousin and his teenage friends may have something to do with the crazy virus stuff I have been seeing lately and I want it gone!

  1. You need the Original CD that has Windows XP by Microsoft NOT A OEM SOFTWARE that was furnished by the manufacture.

  2. Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

Choose a date to go back to.

It will only work if you have it enabled under My Computer > Properties > System Restore.

  3. You can find system restore in:

    Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore.

If you own a genuine windows xp(it means if you own an original one) you can download windows defender on the microsoft site for FREE and will protect your computer forever.
