  1. Go to the department of motor vehicles they can get you a duplicate no problem. Take ID with you.


  2. go to the dmv they can fix you right up

  3. In NY it takes about a month to get a new one from the DMV.

  4. If it's in your name, just go to the DMV and fill out a lost title report.  They will mail you a duplicate for a nominal charge.
