Well, first of all, if you are using a washing machine and a dryer, then it's really easy!!!

All you need is:

Washing Detergent

Dirty Clothes

Washing machine

Dryer

first put the clothes in the washer, but don't put too much! If you stuff it too much, then it will get off balance, and it wont wash the clothes very well.

Next Add the detergent. If using liquid, use the cap to measure. If using a  powdered soap,  there should be a little green cup in the box, and fill the powder up to the top and put it in with the laundry.

Close the door to the washer, and the the dial (if it's an older washer, and set it to heavy load if you have a lot.

Wait for it to wash your clothes. and it usually takes around 20 minutes. When it is done, Take the clothes out and put them in the dryer. There is a timer dial on the dryer. Turn it and set it for about 60 minutes. There is a button you have to press after you set the timer. Press it, and wait for the clothes to dry.

That's about it!!

Step 1: Seperate all your clothes into 5 categories:

---white clothes

---light color clothes

---dark color clothes

---towels/wash rags

---blankets/pillow cases

Step 2: Start with the:

---then the blankets/pillow cases

---then the dark color clothes

---then the light color clothes

---then the white clothes (these have to be last because you don't want to get any left over bleach on your color clothes)

Step 3: Fold the clothes every time you take them out of the dryer immediately, because if you throw them all in one big pile, they will never get done and you wouldn't feel like foldig them later! So make sure your fold them immediately when they are tooken put of the dryer.

Step 4: Relax or clean the rest of house or your bedroom!

try and keep all your whites separate from the coloureds, (clothes  that is), do your unmentionables by hand, to save power us cold water wash on your machine, read the instructions on the soap packet and away you go. experiment with towels and face cloths 1st, just to see how you go
