How do I do multiple quotations in a row?

I'm writing a paper for English, I have to quote from the play M. Butterfly and I need to quote only one Character from a conversation. How should I do this?

  1. You simply quote the one character.

    If you want to include multiple lines in one citing, and you do not want to include the other party's portion of the conversation, you can use an ellipsis and a period in between the lines you are using to show that you have omitted a part of the text.

    Like this:

    In the text, So and So says:

    "This and that and this and that." . . . . "And more of the same." . . . . "And yet more still."
