How do I do my makeup for the Japanese firework festival tonight? quick!

hanabi! yes finally. I have a dark purple yukata and now it's time to do makeup. even the guys can help on this one. light or dark? lots of makeup to glam it up or as little as possible?

thanks if you can help. I need this answered within the hour (11:30 now)

I think light make up is suite for you in summer night outdoor festival.

Light maked up face will stand against the darkness around you at night. Boys near you will be supprised the beauty on your face against fireworks when they transfer their gaze from hanabi to you.

I&#039;m not so young, but I bet many Japanese young boys think so.

Just don&#039;t wear lots of make up, It&#039;s taboo especially when you&#039;re wearing Yukata. Try not to wear too much foundation but use little powder and light eye shadow(don&#039;t make it dark and noticeable) wear lip gloss and little bit of mascara. I don&#039;t know why you put thumbs down to these two guys who answered but they&#039;re right, natural make up is suitable for the Yukata. I don&#039;t think you&#039;ll see too many girls wear lots of make up when they go to the festival.
