How do I do research for a fantasy football draft?

I have a fantasy football auction draft in four days and I'm new to this format and I'm trying to find a strategy. Where can I get research on players and how much I should be willing to pay per player? I found a site that lists average values for players in mock drafts but they have 12 teams 16 players each, but my league has 7 teams 20 players each. Should I just fix the average values so that they're proportional (i.e. multiply by 16/20)?

  2. Well, if you want to look at stats for players you can go to NFL.com.  All you have to do is go to nfl.com, then go to players, and search whatever player you want by name.
