How do I do the finger trick on my cello?

Help I cant do that finger trick while I'm playing my cello can someone help me.

  1. do you mean vibrato? don't worry! once you get it, you'll start doing it without even thinking.

    a good way to start is by practicing vibrato single notes and fingers at a time. Remember that vibrato is not a movement of your wrist, instead your arm should be moving from the elbow. even when you don't have your cello, practice it by pretending your right arm is the fingerboard...and soon you'll get used to the feeling and be able to do vibrato! oh one last thing, when doing vibrato, only the finger that you use for the note shuld be down, and anchor it with your thumb behind the cello's neck. hope that helps!
