How do I do these things on my Blackberry Pearl??

I just got this phone and I am a bit frustrated that I can't figure out how to do a few things...they are things that you would think are simple (maybe they are) but I have not figured them out yet. Here they are:

1.How do you change the text alert sound?

2.Why can I sign onto several websites but not myspace or facebook?

3.How do I download ring tones? (and PLEASE don't give me those websites...I want to be able to download them from my phone)

4.How do you go to the next photo w/out going back to the thumbnails?

5. How do I put songs on my phone?

I feel like I have figured out a lot but these 5 things are driving me crazy. I really hope that someone can help me =] Thank you!

Jennifer,  

1. Profiles > Advanced > Normal > SMS Text. From there you can change it.

2. Go to your browser options and make sure all the options are checked like Java, etc. Then try again.

3. From your phone, you need to download the Desktop Manager with Media Manager from https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/con... and then connect your BB to your PC using the USB cable. Start media manager and you can move ringtones to/from your phone. You may not be able to move ringtones that came with your phone as they might be locked.

4. hit N for next picture, P for previous picture.

5. See #3. You can move songs back and forth with the media manager.
