Okay, I have a samsung computer and it has windows and I have a control panel thing in the bottom right corner, it has something in there that I don't want (it is something from a free games website) and I don't know how to get it out of my control panel in case it has a virus. I have an anti-virus thing and McAfee Site advisor, but it just annoys me being there, I right click on it and I click exit and then it goes away but comes back next time I turn on my computer. The control panel thing is next to the time and has a thing to control the sound and such. How can I get it off and in the recycling bin? Thanks!

  1. have you tried right clicking ( right side of the mouse ) on it and then clicking delete? or go to your start menu and then to find files or folders and then type in the name of the game and click search ... then then the file comes up   .. click on Edit ( at the top left corner of screen ) and click select all. the you will see it all high lighted.. then click on File ( to the far left of screen ) when that opens up click delete )

  2. That is not your control panel its your task bar. But if you want to keep it from popping up. If you have vista click the start button, "its a circle with the windows logo on it, at the far bottom left" right above that click the search text box and type in "run". Click the run program and type in Msconfig, your window will go black if vista but thats normal it just ask if you want to run click continue. Then go to start up, try finding the program the game website and un check that box. It will not open up again not unless you click on it.

If you want to delete it you must go to your real control panel click "Add or Remove programs" for XP and "Uninstall Programs" for Vista from there and find the thing you want to uninstall and it will be gone for good.

  3. start>run>msconfig, go to the startup tab and uncheck it.

  4. Ok. First you can either uninstall (remove) the program and that little icon will disappear forever. Or you can click start, run, then type "msconfig". Click on the "startup" tab and find the program and uncheck it's box. WARNING: if you are not sure about witch program it is from the msconfig window, then do not do anything and just exit.

  5. start>run

    type in msconfig

    go to the startup tab

    uncheck whatever you want
