ok i am gonna take a bus from memphis tn to Trenton, NJ I am gonna look for an apartment there my question is how am i supposed to get around since i wont have a car?

You should be able to find public bus routes online for the area you will be in, or you can call a taxi service if you've got the money for it.

Well...either walk or rent a bike or car. Believe it or not you can get places in pretty good time just on foot but if that doesn't work for you rent a bike or car. Or you could ride local transit such as metro busses.

First off, peruse the Trenton newspaper for apartment listings and ask the landlord or property manager to e-mail you some pictures of the apartment you might be interested in.  Then, assuming you are traveling by Greyhound, log onto Greyhound.com and find the schedule that suits your needs.  From there you will need to locate the appropriate bus terminal.  

Before you go, log onto the local bus system's web-site in Trenton and ask them to send you a schedule to your current address so you will have it when you ge there.
