i want to know how I get my text blinking like that.

How do I do that? I recently found out that this Photoshop doesnt have imageready and thats what people keep telling me what to use. How do I do that

And also how do I take an image out of its background? Or remove the background so only the man image is visable?.

  1. Those kinds of motions require the animation layer in Photoshop CS3 (it might not be included in the Standard- you may have to get the Extended, but I'm not sure- check on Adobe's website)

You can make one layer the red text, then another layer has white text, and make a loop animation between them, getting the result in the second URL you posted.  You should be able to work from there to get the others you're looking for.

Remember- with computers, there's always more than one way to do something.  It's just with this- it may be easier to do it in ImageReady.  If you have Photoshop, try searching on Google for tutorials for that exact effect.  You may be surprised on what you find.

For your second question- use the quick selection wand and resize it as needed- then either select just the background, and then invert the selection, getting just the man, or select just the man- whichever is easier.  Then cut it and move it to a new layer- or another document
