How do I do this on the computer (Messenger)

How do I open messenger automatically when the computer starts?Thanks!

Start the messenger (Yahoo)in the File menu of messenger>Preferences (Ctrl+Shift+P)>General>Check the Box that says Start messenger when I start computer

in XP

Start>Run>Type this: C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER PROFILE NAME\Start Menu\Programs\Startup In the Window that opens You can drag & drop the shortcut of the program you want to start when windows launches. It could be any messenger or application or music or image...

Sign into messenger.

Click on "Tools" up at the top of the screen.

Click "Options" at the bottom of the drop down menu.

A dialouge box opens, click on the "General" tab at the left side.

Click in the first box near the top of the box which says "Automatically run Windows Live Messenger when I log on to Windows".

Hope this is right! I'm using Windows, I'm not sure if it's different on MAC computers. :)

Go to messenger options and tick the "run as a service" option box.
