  1. cot^2x - csc^2x

  2. When in doubt, do them all in sin and cos.

    and alway remember cos^2(x) +sin^2(x) = 1

The answer then may be simplified to

    ( cos^2(x)-1 ) / sin^2(x)  = -1

  3. Is  like

    (a + b) (a - b) = a^2 - b^2

    so  the  answer  is

    cot^2 x - csc^2 x
