How do I download a SCANNED attachment (phoos)?

I have IPhoto as well asAdobe. I cannot download emailed photos to my computer!!!

may depend on type of email used, online like yahoo/ hotmail, or personal like outlook , thunderbird, either way you should be able to right click image and save as, or use attachment download of file name,

you mentioned scanned, that is either your scanner via photoshop, or other persons image from scan in email ,

check format of image, usually jpg or gif for web, scanned images are sometimes tif files, that can be viewed with default viewers,
