How do I download a embed file in video format?

Ok I see this really cool 5 second video sig for forums and stuff and I wan't to use it, so I right click and save as but whenever I go to the file location it saves as a image.. How do I convert it into a video format so I can put it on youtube and stuff

if it's a .gif, you save it like that, it's right.

if you're sure it's a video, its format is .flv, you can use a tool named youtube downloader to get it.

It's probably a .gif file which is essentially a series of photos.
