How do I download music from QuickTime to my Mac?

I'm trying to download a song from a website and when I click on the link that says "download" it takes me to the QuickTime player. I can't figure out how to download the song to my computer. There's no link or menu! Please help!

If you are using a one button mouse or trackpad, control-click and choose "Save link as..." If a two button mouse, right click.

By the way, it should be just opening a new tab or new web page in Safari, not opening QuickTime Player itself. You see the big, blue Q because the browser is using the QuickTime plugin to play the file.
