How do I download software for a Palm PDA using Windows Vista Home Premium?

Question

Just got a new Palm - my first - and I was wondering - do I just download Palm software on to my PC running Windows Vista and then upload it to the PDA with the USB cable - or is it not as simple as that?

The Palm Hotsync software should be running fine on vista.

go here http://www.palm.com/us/support/downloads...

select your device then vista and install the Palm Desktop.

you'd only need to double click on palm .prc to install (on next sync)

curiously which palm do you have?
