How do I download songs from the Internet on to my ipod for free? (In britain)?

Well I've got this ipod and I can't do anything with it.. Do i need a special wire for this to download some? Will it cost? omg

well you could download Lime Wire at: http://www.limewire.com/download/  (the one that says BASIC.) You can search and download songs, pictures, videos and other files (I've never tried) and I think it's the best free music download-er, except it's more file sharing.

You just search the song you want like for example 'Bullet For My Valentine' (they are awesome! Get 'All Thes Things I Hate Revolve Around Me!') and all the files come down like a list. There's a column called 'speed' and if you want the downloading rate to be fast, download all songs that have T3 or Higher and it ranges down to T1 to Broadband to the slowest Dial Up.

Oh yea one more thing make sure you know how big the size of the file is because it will take a little longer than you think.

I'm sure you have the USB thing for the ipod that connects it to your PC right? Just sort and manage your music on iTunes and here's the website for it, just in case: http://www.itunestop.com/

if you have the cable for the i pod and have downloaded i tunes? then i would use a torrent program to download music all you need to do is go to torrentpond.com download u torrent and start downloading! once its down loaded drag and drop into itunes. change your preferences on itunes so it saves to your music collection. then obviously plug your ipod ito you computer it should connect and update. job done. alternately you could use lime wire to the same effect
