How do I downsize the Favorites window and sort the listings into alphabectical order?

I move my favourits all the time.  Click and drag.

Put your cursor on the right hand side of the favorites window.  When it makes a double arrow (one pointing left, one pointing right) you can click it and drag it to as big or small as you want.

To organize, you should be able to click "organize" and you can put them in any order you want.
