How do I drain a Volkswagen Beetle's Fuel Tank?

How do I drain the Volkswagen's fuel tank to replace it? Any suggestions?

take a hose and put it in the gas tank

then suck on one end until you get some gas flowing

(if it gets in your mouth obviously spit it out and wash your mouth)

then just let it flow into a bucket until all the gas is out of the tank.

you could also just drive around your block until all the gas is used.

You can buy a siphon at an auto parts store. They make siphons that you don't have to suck yourself. It has a pump.

Just run it until it dies. Other than that, you'd probably have to siphon it out. And that really, really sucks.

Siphon the gas out, use a hose and suck until the gas reaches your lips and then just let physics pull the rest out. Try first on a bucket of water!
