My hair is REALLY curly. It looks great when its wet and looks nice and silky. but then when it dries, it expands and looks like an afro. i dry it with a towel so i think that might be the prob. but if i dont dry it its all wet and my clothes get wet. so how should i dry it?

  1. dry just a bit of your hair them put mouse and your hair will good stunning!! :)

  2. use hair diffuser. make sure to put hair mouse for curly hair before drying.

  3. You can get a diffuser to attach to your hair dryer. Ionic hair dryers are also supposed to be good. You could also try just wrapping the towel around your head and twisting it up like a turban without rubbing your hair. That should help keep the curl pattern in tact like when it's wet.

  4. Air dry it instead. Try putting the towel around your shoulders so your clothes wont get wet

  5. put a curl enhancing mousse in it, try the curling mousse by Matrix (it works amazingly). then flip your head upside down and dry using a difuser which can be attached to the end of your blow dryer, scrunch your hair as you difuse, then finish with a finishing spray (try John Freida's Dream Curls spray).. good luck!

  6. my hair is curly too, but not super curly. what i do, is i towel dry my hair a bit, just at the ends to get out extra water. i then put gel and mousse all through my hair. i then let my hair air dry. my hair comes out curly, and not poofy! i suggest you do this the night before, because air drying your hair can take hours for me.
