  1. put the pedals between two sheets of WAX PAPER (thats the best one... i've used normal paper, no paper, plastic paper... wax definatly works best)

inside of a heavy book. you can even stack more books on top if you'd like. a light spray of hairspray is a good idea too

  2. If you don't want them pressed, and just want to dry them out, you can hang them upside down in an attic, and the leaves will simply dry out in place.

  3. I like the answer from Onelovea.

  4. To press flowers and leaves I like to put them in a medium text book between two sheets of blank computer paper (don't use printed paper b/c the ink potentially transfers to the flowers, and don't use plastic b/c the moisture from the plants needs to be absorbed into something).  Also, with this technique, you can just leave them attached to the paper and frame them as-is.  When flowers are a bit bulky, I like to separate the petals and press them on their own (I dissect the flower and dry the parts separate).  Once I have them all laid flat, I close the book and put several bricks on it.  Usually leave it for 3-5 days.

Pressing flowers is a fun hobby!  Good luck.

  5. Put them in a big book, between the center pages, put plastic on each side and put the flow in it. It'll work out nice.
