How do I edit database information?

That depends...  Are you a moderator or a regular member of the group?  

If you are not a moderator, depending on the way the databased was set up, you may not have permission to edit the information contained within the database.  I have created databases in a group I moderate and some can be edited by members, others cannot.  

You should first verify that you are supposed to be able to edit it.  If so then there should be menu items available to you that permit you to edit a database you have the right to edit.
