How do I edit my channel on youtube when it says..?

Please check the channel description. Why does it say that when I push Update Channel I have done it before but now it wont let me why?

that is because you have to many character in the description box

Just what Billy Bob said, too many characters.  It does that to me all the time.  If you want to add more to your description go to Personal Info, or something like that, and you can add more to your channel.
